• 1 bushel of corn = 2.8 gallons of ethanol



• 1 bushel of corn = 17 lbs. of distillers grains



• Ethanol is blended in more than 50% of the nation's gasoline



• 10.6 billion gallons of ethanol in 2009 displaced the need for 364 million barrels of oil from places like Venezuela & the Middle East



• All of the Big Three auto makers have recommended the use of gasoline containing oxygenates, such as ethanol, in their warranty statements since the 1993 model year. The reason?…..the lower and less harmful emissions produced by ethanol.
